CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE FAIR? Sorry, but we do not allow any dogs/pets on the grounds. The exception being service animals.
WHAT TIME DO THE GATES OPEN? We begin selling tickets at 8:00 AM every day of the fair.
WHAT TIME DO THE GATES CLOSE? Gates close at 10:00 PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 6:00 PM on Sunday.
WHAT AGE IS A SENIOR CITIZEN? 60 is our senior citizen age.
CAN I GO TO MY CAR AFTER PAYING ADMISSION? Certainly! - get your hand stamped before exiting the gate.
IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE? Dail Transportation runs a shuttle service in the parking lots on Saturday and Sunday.
CAN I BRING A PICNIC LUNCH? Of course - we have many areas with benches and picnic tables for you to sit and enjoy your lunch.
IS THE FAIRGROUNDS HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE? The Deerfield Fairgrounds is totally handicapped accessible. All roadways/walkways are paved. Handicapped stalls are in restrooms. Special handicapped seating at the horse show.
IS HANDICAPPED PARKING AVAILABLE? Yes, located at gate "E".
CAN I STAY OVERNIGHT IN MY CAMPER? We have a large area set aside for those of you who visit the fair in a camper. Follow the signs for campground when you enter the fairgrounds. You must park in this area even if you are staying only for the day. If you would like to stay overnight we do not accept reservations. Space is allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Hookups are available.
CAN I GET MY CAMPER PUMPED OUT? A pump out septic service is available after hours. See campground personnel to make arrangements.
IS THERE AN ATM AVAILABLE? ATM machines are located in various places on the grounds. Rides area, arts/crafts exhibit building, working crafts building, horse show area.
DO YOU HAVE A RIDE ALL DAY FOR ONE PRICE? Yes - Friday is our special "bracelet day" - Hours to ride for one price are 9-5 - Both children and adults can enjoy the rides during those hours for $15.00.
CAN I BRING MY SCHOOL CLASS ON A DAY TRIP? Please Do!! We welcome all schools for a great educational day at the fair. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Bus drivers are admitted free. Chaperones and children over 12 will pay adult rates. Advance tickets are available at considerable saving over gate price but must be purchased in advance (see dates and prices on our general information page). Call the fairgrounds (463-7421) if you need assistance.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SEE THE "DEMOLITION DERBY" ? It costs no extra to see the Demolition Derby at Deerfield Fair. Once you have paid your gate admission, all fair sponsored events are free.
